Turkey's 2026 ALES/2 Exam: Booklet Released, Results Date Set, Entry Docs Open

The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) has opened access to the 2026 ALES/2 exam’s basic question booklet and answer key, publishing 10 % of the material on 2 August. Candidates can view the full booklet through the AİS portal until 12 August 23:59.

For the 2026 YÖKDİL/2 exam, ÖSYM made entry documents available on 30 July, showing building, hall and seat assignments. Candidates are warned that after 10:00 a.m. on 9 August no one will be admitted to exam rooms.

The ALES/2 exam was conducted in 81 provinces at 92 centres, covering 395 buildings and 5,895 rooms, with 152,449 candidates. The test began at 10:15 a.m. and ended at 12:45 p.m.; candidates arriving after 10:00 a.m. were not admitted. Results are scheduled for 21 August 2026.

Candidate feedback describes the exam as medium‑hard, noting lengthy verbal passages, tricky distractor options, and heavy time pressure in both verbal and quantitative sections.
