Turkey's AK Party Deputy Efkan Ala Blames CHP for Internal Chaos
During a Kurban Bayrami event organized by the AK Party in Bursa, deputy chairman Efkan Ala warned that the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) is preoccupied with its own internal disputes. Ala said the opposition’s “inside is as tangled as the Middle East” and urged the party to focus on resolving its own problems rather than repeatedly accusing the government. He added that CHP members were both the complainants and the accused, and called for a “honest and project‑oriented opposition” that would address national issues.
Ala also briefly referenced the suffering in Gaza, noting that the holiday felt somber for many Turks because of the conflict abroad.
