2026 ALES/2 Exam Scheduled for August 2 Across Turkey
The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) announced that the 2026 Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam (ALES/2) will be held on Sunday, 2 August 2026. The test will be administered simultaneously in all 81 provinces at 92 centers, using 395 buildings and 5,895 rooms.
The exam starts at 10:15 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m., giving candidates 150 minutes to answer 100 questions (50 numerical and 50 verbal). A total of 152,449 candidates have applied, including 643 candidates with disability accommodations. About 20,682 staff members, including security personnel, will be on duty, and 1,268 veterans and families of martyrs will receive fee exemptions.
Results will be published on 21 August 2026 and will remain valid for five years for use in graduate admissions and engineering completion programs. Candidates can retrieve their entry documents via the ÖSYM AİS portal, and local population directorates will be open on exam day for those lacking proper identification.
