The Turkish General Directorate of Meteorology has issued multiple weather warnings across various regions, signaling a shift from extreme heat to heavy precipitation and strong winds.

In Istanbul and the Marmara region, recent intense heat and high humidity are expected to be temporarily interrupted by thunderstorms and rain. While temperatures in Istanbul may dip slightly to around 30-31 degrees Celsius, humidity levels are also predicted to decrease briefly before rising again. Strong winds, reaching speeds of 40-60 km/h, are expected in the southwest of Marmara and the North Aegean coasts.

Severe weather warnings, including yellow-code alerts, have been issued for several provinces, most notably in the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia regions. Rize, Artvin, Kars, Ardahan, and Erzurum face risks of heavy thunderstorms, which could lead to flooding, lightning, landslides, and transportation disruptions. In Samsun, specific warnings were issued for several districts regarding intense thunderstorms and lightning risks.

In southern and eastern parts of the country, temperatures remain above seasonal norms, with Şanlıurfa reaching up to 41 degrees Celsius. However, northern and central regions will see more varied conditions, including localized heavy rain and thunderstorms.
