Turkey's city hospitals reach 12 million surgeries

Turkey's 27 operating city hospitals have performed approximately 12 million surgeries and provided over 455 million polyclinic services to date. These facilities currently offer a total capacity of about 40,000 beds and have conducted more than 85 million emergency examinations.

The city hospital model integrates diagnosis, treatment, surgery, rehabilitation, education, and research services within single campuses. This structure is designed to provide holistic healthcare and allow patients to access various medical specialties in one location.

Construction is currently underway for 13 additional city hospitals. Once completed, these new facilities are expected to increase the total bed capacity to approximately 56,000, further strengthening the nation's healthcare infrastructure through advanced technology and patient-oriented design.
