Turkey's Devrek Folk Dance Ensemble to Perform in North Macedonia

A 31‑person folk dance troupe from Devrek, a district in Zonguldak Province, will travel to Skopje, North Macedonia, to take part in the International Folk Dance Festival scheduled for 13–17 July 2026. The group will represent Turkey and showcase traditional Anatolian folk dances and costumes to an international audience.

Team leader Nilgün Çelik said, “We are very proud to take part in such an important event and will represent our country and district in the best possible way. Our goal is to present our culture beautifully and return home successfully.” The ensemble will depart for Skopje on 13 July and return to Turkey after the festival concludes on 17 July.
