Turkey's e-Devlet portal faces temporary access delays as upgrades continue

Officials clarified that there was no system-wide crash or cyber‑attack; the disruptions are attributed to high traffic, ongoing technical improvements and routine maintenance. The Presidency’s Communication Office urged citizens to follow official updates rather than unverified social‑media claims.

Separately, the Social Security Institution (SGK) has added a new digital feature to the e-Devlet platform that lets users calculate pension eligibility, estimate retirement dates and track application status. The service is part of a broader push to digitise SGK interactions, with the portal recording roughly 12 billion accesses and over 46 million uses of retirement‑related services such as “When can I retire?” and “Service record” queries.
