Turkey's Education Manager Training Program Launches in Sakarya and Nevşehir
The Ministry of National Education's Academy started an eight‑day Education Institutions Manager Training Program in two Turkish provinces. In Sakarya, the opening ceremony was held on 16 July at Vali Mustafa Büyük Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi, attended by Provincial Education Director Coşkun Bakırtaş. The program runs from 16‑23 July with 159 newly appointed managers receiving instruction on educational leadership, administration, strategic planning, crisis management and related topics.
In Nevşehir, the program opened the same week at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi, with Provincial Education Director Yusuf Yazıcı and Şube Müdürü Gülüzar Ergin addressing the 73 participating teachers and educators. Training covers school management, legal frameworks, communication and effective leadership, aiming to equip future school heads with the skills needed to improve educational quality.
Both sessions are part of a nationwide initiative covering 81 provinces, designed to strengthen the capacity of school administrators across Turkey.
