Turkey's Education Ministry Announces New School Manager Appointment Timeline and Teacher Survey

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) released the first ever schedule for assigning school principals and vice‑principals for 2026. Applications will be accepted 3–7 July, a training programme runs 16–23 July, the final e‑exam is on 25 July, preference submissions 7–10 August, results announced 12 August and appointments commence 14 August.

In parallel, MEB launched an online three‑form questionnaire for teachers as part of its “Literacy Skills Battery Development” study under the Turkey‑Century Education Model. The forms will be distributed on 1, 2 and 3 July and teachers are asked to complete all three within three days to provide feedback on literacy curricula.
