Turkey's Education Ministry opens paid teacher applications for 2026‑27
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) in Turkey has begun accepting applications for paid (contract) teacher positions for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Provincial and district education directorates have opened the intake, requiring candidates to submit a preliminary application through the e‑Devlet portal; applications not made through this system will be considered invalid.
Applicants must provide a completed form, certified copies of diplomas and verification documents, a criminal record check, a recent photograph, and other certificates such as formation or specialty qualifications. Additional documents include the 2024 or 2025 KPSS results, military status for male candidates, and identity proof for retirees. Each directorate announces specific deadlines, typically in July or August, and candidates are urged to follow local notices and avoid last‑minute submissions.
The process is fully digital, with files uploaded online and then submitted to the relevant directorate. Successful candidates will be placed on assignment lists for paid teaching roles in schools across Turkey.
