Turkey's Ministry of Education holds national teacher seminar in Hakkari and rolls out AI timetable system

The Ministry of National Education organized a five‑day seminar in Hakkari that brought together directors of teacher houses from all 81 provinces. The event focused on the use of the Central Management Platform (MYP) and digital management processes, with speeches from the provincial governor and senior ministry officials.

Separately, the ministry has not yet clarified whether it will repeat the "province‑order" appointment policy for teachers seeking transfers this year, a move that previously allowed all eligible teachers to be placed without competition.

In a further initiative, the ministry announced a new e‑Okul module that uses artificial intelligence to automatically generate weekly class timetables, aiming to eliminate manual scheduling conflicts and reduce administrators' workload ahead of the new school year.
