Turkey's Erdogan warns Netanyahu will face consequences over Gaza

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan delivered a message on the Eid al‑Adha holidays from Istanbul’s Çamlıca Mosque, calling for unity among Muslims and expressing prayers for health and peace. In the speech he referenced the war in Gaza and the situation in Palestine, then launched a sharp personal attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying “the tyrant will get the lesson he deserves.”

Erdogan urged the Muslim world to stand together, adding that he expects “four to five million Muslims” to experience the impact of the conflict and to support the cause of Palestine.
