Turkey's intelligence chief meets Egypt's intelligence chief in Ankara

Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) chief Ibrahim Kalın met with Egyptian intelligence chief Hasan Mahmud Reşad in Ankara. The two discussed a roadmap for a lasting cease‑fire and peace process in the Gaza Strip, agreeing to strengthen coordination to prevent further violations. They also touched on broader bilateral issues, including developments in Sudan, Libya and Somalia, and reaffirmed Turkey’s support for the Palestinian people.
