Turkey's Kars and Eskişehir Organize Community Cycling Tours

The Kars Youth and Sports Provincial Directorate organized a 10‑kilometre recreational cycling tour that passed historic sites such as Kars Castle. Coordinated by Recreational Coach Ülkü Alp and praised by Provincial Director Mehmet Başköylü, the event aimed to promote healthy living, cycling use and cultural awareness.

In Eskişehir, the Youth and Sports Directorate’s Nature Activities Group, led by trainer Gökay Konuk, combined a bike ride and nature walk with a sky‑watch program. Participants observed the moon and stars with the Eskişehir Astronomy Society, featuring a presentation by astrophysicist Ömer Ayyıldız. The event sought to foster outdoor activity, environmental awareness and community engagement.
