Turkey's Local Governments Roll Out New Vehicle Services

The Küçükçekmeke municipality in Istanbul has opened a "Foam Point" car‑wash service that offers foam, washing and vacuum cleaning for a fee of 50 TL per vehicle. Operating daily from 10:00 to 22:00 except Sundays, the service began at the Fatih Mahallesi parking lot and plans to expand to other district locations such as Tevfikbey and Atakent markets.

In Samsun’s Canik district, Mayor Ibrahim Sandıkçı announced that the municipal vehicle fleet is being enlarged with additional service and cleaning vehicles, including a new tractor‑type vehicle. The mayor said the expansion aims to improve response speed and efficiency for residents, and that the fleet size has been quadrupled using municipal own‑source funding.
