Turkey's MHP MP Tamer Osmanağaoğlu urges a ‘terror‑free Turkey’ at party congress

MHP General Secretary Assistant and İzmir deputy Tamer Osmanağaoğlu addressed the party’s Selçuk Ordinary Congress, declaring that a “terror‑free Turkey” is not only a national goal but a hope for all humanity. He linked internal peace to regional stability, citing ongoing conflicts and “imperialistic policies” as obstacles to global justice and harmony.

Osmanağaoğlu stressed that the Turkish nation’s historic role as a protector of the oppressed underpins the vision of a “Turkish and Turkey Century” built on security and prosperity for every citizen. He recalled former party leader Devlet Bahçeli’s warning that division weakens the nation, urging swift action to achieve internal stability.

The speech called for unity, the end of hesitation, and a collective effort to reduce tensions, improve living standards, and present a “terror‑free Turkey” as a model for the world.
