The Turkish Ministry of Education announced the 2026 timetable for teacher transfers and school‑administrator appointments.

For teachers, inter‑provincial applications run from 14‑20 May, with inter‑provincial appointments on 22 May. Project‑school results are released on 16 June. Summer‑term transfer applications open in two phases (13‑24 July and 27‑29 July), with assignments on 30 July. Inter‑provincial transfer applications open 13‑24 July and the final results are published on 11 August. In August, excess‑norm and contract‑teacher placements are processed, with selections announced 24 August and assignments on 31 August (contract teachers: applications 24‑26 August, assignments 28 August).

For administrators, vacant posts are announced on 15 June. Candidates submit preferences through the MEBBİS system between 19‑22 June, with approvals completed by 23 June. Results are made public on 25 June and the newly appointed administrators begin duties on 10 July. The ministry emphasized the electronic, transparent handling of all steps.
