The Ministry of National Education (MEB) announced the 2026 LGS (High School Transition System) placement results. A total of 1,259,614 seats were available across central exam and local placement schools, with 963,322 filled in the first round, leaving 296,292 vacancies. A second‑stage transfer period for unplaced students occurs 17‑26 August, with final placements completed by 28 August.

School rankings based on LGS scores placed Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi among the nation’s highest‑scoring schools, with a base score of 483,4395. The detailed placement report also shows that 52.16% of top‑5% students chose science high schools, while 40.55% opted for Anatolian high schools.
