Turkey police arrest 352 suspected drug dealers in nationwide “Narko Pars” raids

The Republic Prosecutor’s Office, together with the Gendarmerie General Command’s Narcotics Crime Department, coordinated simultaneous “Narko Pars” operations in 45 provinces across Turkey. Law‑enforcement teams detained 352 suspects believed to be involved in the wholesale trafficking of illicit drugs. The raids resulted in the seizure of 132 kg of various narcotics, large quantities of pills, drug‑use equipment and precision scales. Investigators also uncovered skunk seeds that had been imported by cargo and distributed nationwide. All detained individuals are currently under judicial proceedings.

The operation, which spanned from Adana to Zonguldak and included provinces such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Konya, was described by officials as a major blow to organized drug‑smuggling networks.

The crackdown marks one of the largest coordinated drug‑law enforcement actions in recent Turkish history.
