Turkey's Oltu District Hosts Quran Course Competition for 550 Students

In Oltu district of Erzurum Province, Turkey, a knowledge competition was organized for students taking part in the 2026 summer Quran courses. The event was coordinated by the Oltu District Mufti Office and took place simultaneously at Cumhuriyet Middle School and Anadolu Male Imam Hatip High School.

A total of 550 students answered questions on the Qur'an and related religious topics. The top 100 performers will receive awards at a later ceremony. Organizers said the contest reinforced the students' learning, motivation and sense of community during the summer courses.
