Turkey's 'Orman Benim' forest protection events held in Malatya, Bursa and nearby provinces

Under the direction of Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı, Turkey’s nationwide “Orman Benim” campaign was staged in multiple provinces to raise awareness of forest‑fire risks. In Malatya, Governor Seddar Yavuz, local forestry officials and students cleaned forest areas and urged citizens to protect the environment. Simultaneously, clean‑up events took place in Bursa, Yalova, Kütahya, Eskişehir, Balıkesir, Çanakkale and Bilecik, targeting litter removal and public education about forest safety. The coordinated activities aimed to highlight the importance of preserving forests for future generations and to curb fire hazards.
