Turkey's students secure 19 medals across four international science olympiads

Turkey's Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır praised the nation’s youth after they collected 19 medals at four international science olympiads.

At the 67th International Mathematics Olympiad in Shanghai, China, Turkish participants won 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. In the 37th International Biology Olympiad held in Vilnius, Lithuania, they earned 2 gold and 2 silver medals. The 58th International Chemistry Olympiad in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, yielded 4 silver medals, and the 56th International Physics Olympiad in Bucaramanga, Colombia, produced 5 silver medals.

Kacır said the students “continue to return from international science olympiads with medals, representing Turkey proudly,” and congratulated all the medalists for their achievements.
