Turkey's TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan 2026 to showcase maritime tech in Gölcük
The TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan edition for 2026 will take place from 20 to 23 August at the Gölcük Shipyard Command (Gölcük Tersanesi) in Turkey. Organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Vakfı), the festival brings together maritime culture, advanced technology and defence‑industry capabilities under one roof.
The programme includes three competition categories – Unmanned Underwater Systems, Underwater Rocket and Unmanned Sea Vehicle – where young engineers display prototype projects. Visitors will be able to tour key Turkish Navy vessels, and live demonstrations by the SAT, SAS and naval aviation units are scheduled. The event follows last year’s successful edition in Istanbul and is presented as a concrete step of the National Technology Movement’s maritime vision, aiming to boost domestic sea‑technology and reduce foreign dependence.
