Overview

The TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan 2026 festival has commenced at the Gölcük Shipyard Command in Kocaeli, running from August 20 to August 23. Organized by the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Vakfı), the event showcases Turkey’s maritime, underwater, and defense industry capabilities.

The festival features 37 different naval elements and platforms. Notable displays include the flagship TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, and various submarines, as well as the MİLDEN National Submarine test block. Unmanned sea vehicles such as ULAQ, SANCAR, MARLIN, and SALVO are also on exhibit.

In addition to maritime displays, the program includes aerial demonstrations featuring Bayraktar TB2, TB3, and AKINCI UAVs, alongside various helicopters. The event features technology competitions for unmanned underwater systems and sea vehicles, special operations demonstrations by SAT and SAS commandos, and traditional maritime competitions such as tug-of-war.
