Turkey's 'Terror-Free Turkey' Initiative Emphasized by MHP and AK Party Leaders

MHP İstanbul İl Başkanı Volkan Yılmaz addressed the party congress, stressing the importance of the "Terörsüz Türkiye" (terror‑free Turkey) vision championed by MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli. He claimed that terror organisations have been neutralised, described the initiative as a counter to imperialist influences, and highlighted the party’s intensive organisational work across Istanbul’s districts.

AK Party Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman, speaking at a Kütahya provincial council meeting, reiterated that the "Terörsüz Türkiye" project is a state‑wide effort managed by the Milli Dayanışma, Kardeşlik ve Demokrasi Commission. He linked the initiative to national unity, the disarmament and destruction of terror weapons, and cooperation with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and MHP leader Bahçeli, while also noting recent economic and geopolitical challenges facing Turkey.
