Turkey's TOKİ launches massive housing projects and sales, delivering thousands of homes

The State Housing Agency (TOKİ) completed the Ataşehir Şerifali urban renewal project in Istanbul, handing over 1,442 safe, earthquake‑resistant apartments along with shops, a mosque and social facilities.

Minister Murat Kurum also announced a nationwide open‑sale campaign offering roughly 20,000 new apartments in 64 provinces with zero‑down payment options, price ranges from 2.1 million to 6.2 million lira and three flexible financing plans.

TOKİ’s flagship social‑housing programme targets 500,000 units. The first homes are slated for delivery in March 2027, with the entire programme expected to be completed by 2028, aiming to boost employment, reinforce seismic safety and provide affordable housing for low‑ and middle‑income families.
