Turkey's micro export volume jumps 15‑fold in a decade, trade ministry report shows

Turkey's Trade Ministry released the “Simplified Customs Declaration Export Routes 2025” report, which documents that the country's micro export volume has risen roughly 15 times over the past ten years. The ministry said, “Turkey's micro export volume, over the past 10 years, has increased approximately 15‑fold, significantly boosting the global market presence of our producers, entrepreneurs and the e‑export ecosystem.”

The report details the products most exported, destination markets, unit sales values and the sectors where Turkish sellers excel. It also analyses transportation modes—road, air, Ro‑Ro and sea—and the split between marketplace and non‑marketplace sales. While some markets experienced contraction, demand for Turkish goods grew sharply in several countries.

The ministry highlighted that the simplified customs declaration system facilitates access for small and medium‑size enterprises, women entrepreneurs and young businesses, making Turkey’s production more visible in global digital trade channels. It pledged to continue strengthening the e‑export ecosystem and to develop measures that further ease international trade for Turkish firms.
