Turkey's Uludağ Exporter Unions report $3.4 billion May export, automotive sector leads

The Uludağ Exporter Unions (UİB) announced that May 2026 export volume reached $3.389 billion. For the first five months of 2026, total exports rose 3 % year‑on‑year to $17.738 billion.

Within the group, the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters Association recorded $2.916 billion in May, and its five‑month total grew 4 % to $15.215 billion. The textile exporters posted $91.3 million in May, reaching $509.7 million for the first five months. Ready‑made garments, fruit‑vegetable, and fresh produce sectors also reported modest increases.
