Turkish actress Biran Damla Yılmaz hires armed guard amid dispute with ex‑boyfriend

Actress Biran Damla Yılmaz began travelling with an armed bodyguard about two months ago after claiming she felt unsafe following a breakup with businessman Abdurrahman Aydın. Aydın filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, accusing Yılmaz of verbal abuse, document forgery and qualified fraud to obtain a German residence permit.

Yılmaz denied the allegations, stating that she traveled to Germany for medical treatment of a chronic kidney condition and that the fraud claims were false. She disclosed long‑standing health problems that she had previously kept private because of industry pressure to appear healthy. The case remains under investigation.
