Turkish art scene features Artweeks Istanbul panels and Pervin Özdemir exhibition

Artweeks Istanbul is hosting a series of panel discussions titled ‘Collector’s Talks by Listnivo’ at Akaretler Sıraevler. Running from October 4 to November 1, 2026, the program is supported by Bilgili Sanat, Kalebodur, Harvard Business Review Türkiye, and Listnivo. The free public event aims to bring together collectors, curators, and artists to discuss topics such as the preservation of artworks for future generations, the role of women artists in collections, and the changing dynamics of the art economy.

In İzmir, artist Pervin Özdemir has opened the ‘Halikarnas Balıkçısı ve Arşipel’ exhibition at the İzmir Kültür Sanat Fabrikası. The exhibition features ceramic works, including sculptures and busts, created in honor of the influential Turkish literary figure Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı. The showcase explores the relationship between nature and ceramics, drawing inspiration from the Aegean landscape.
