Turkish Basketball Clubs Announce Sponsorships and Coaching Changes

Konya Basket, a women's team in Turkey's 1st League, signed a naming‑sponsorship agreement with MCT Technic. The deal was formalised at a ceremony attended by MCT Technic founder Hacı Yılmaz and club president Dr. Ahmet Gürsel Oğuz, who said the partnership will strengthen the club’s ambitions and support the development of women’s basketball in Konya.

Karşıyaka, a men’s Super League club, appointed former coach Nenad Marković as head coach and announced a restructuring of its administrative staff, including the return of Çağlar Karabulut as general manager. The club also outlined a transfer strategy focused on local players, addressed a pending transfer ban by negotiating debt repayments, and planned a meeting with FIBA officials in Geneva to secure clearance for upcoming signings.
