Turkish business summits expand support for startups and innovators

Major entrepreneurship and investment events in Turkey are providing significant platforms for startups to connect with investors and international markets.

The Growtech Antalya 2026 Startup Competition, held at the ANFAŞ Fair Center, is seeking 10 innovative startups under five years old. The competition focuses on scalable solutions in agricultural production, logistics, smart irrigation, greenhouse technologies, and digital farming platforms. Selected participants will receive access to acceleration programs, Demo Day presentation opportunities, and networking with industry leaders.

Simultaneously, the 3rd International Export and Investment Summit (ITS 2026) has expanded its reach, hosting 300 startups this year compared to 70 in its inaugural year. The summit aims to lower barriers for entrepreneurs by providing free exhibition spaces, allowing them to engage directly with investors and technoparks. Organizers noted that while Turkish startups face challenges regarding investment access and high participation costs, such summits are vital for fostering B2B collaborations and international market entry.
