Turkey's Central Bank launches e‑Devlet account lookup service

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) introduced a new e‑Devlet service on 29 July 2026 that lets individuals see which payment and electronic‑money institutions hold accounts in their own name. The service, called “Ödeme ve Elektronik Para Kuruluşu Hesap Sahipliği Sorgulama”, is provided under Law No. 6493 governing payment services.

In addition to personal accounts, legal heirs can query accounts belonging to deceased relatives. Up‑to‑date information on authorised payment and electronic‑money institutions is published on the TCMB website under the “Payment Services” section. The initiative aims to improve the security, continuity and efficiency of Turkey’s payment system and to increase transparency for citizens.

The service is accessible through the e‑Devlet portal, where users enter their national ID and password, select the service, and receive a consolidated list of all relevant accounts on a single screen.
