Konya, Kayseri, Tuzla and Tavas host summer cultural festivals
The Konya Metropolitan Municipality will hold the three‑day Konya Culture Days from July 10‑12 in Kültürpark, featuring concerts, children’s programs, regional cuisine, folk dances and craft exhibitions that showcase the heritage of the city’s 31 districts.
On July 19, the Kayseri Culture and Tourism Association will host the Taşhan Türkmen Kurultayı and Family Picnic, a day‑long gathering of Turkmen cultural activities, competitions and communal meals in the Taşhan neighbourhood.
The 30th Traditional Kızılcabölük Festival in Tavas, organized by the municipal council and the Kızılcabölük Foundation, concluded with a charity “Keşkek” program and a concert by Öykü Gürman, emphasizing the preservation of local customs and community unity.
From July 6‑12, Tuzla Municipality will run a week‑long series of cultural, artistic and children’s events across the district, including book‑reading sessions, art exhibitions, open‑air cinema, archaeological workshops and family festivals.
