Turkish companies launch industrial and textile investments in Syria

Turkish and Syrian entities are initiating significant industrial and textile investments to revitalize the regional economy. İsra Holding has entered a strategic partnership with the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Industry to launch the “Bab al-Hawa Industrial City Expansion Project.” Spanning 364,000 square meters, the project includes 240,000 square meters of industrial plots, administrative areas, and modern infrastructure such as integrated waste treatment and telecommunications.

In the textile sector, Turkish companies are actively expanding into Syria to rebuild production capacity lost during the conflict. LC Waikiki has commenced production in Aleppo, and İsparko is seeking partnerships for factory investments. The Syrian government has prioritized the revitalization of the textile and ready-to-wear industries, reporting 234 investment applications in the first half of 2026 aimed at establishing new facilities or modernizing existing ones.
