Turkey conducts sweeping drug raids in Diyarbakır, Tekirdağ and Bursa

In Bursa’s İnegöl district, a coordinated jandarma operation involving 500 officers seized large quantities of narcotics and placed 64 suspects into custody; 58 were later jailed for drug trafficking.

In Diyarbakır, an eight‑month investigation culminated in a raid that detained 18 persons and led to the seizure of assets valued at roughly 15 billion Turkish lira, including land, vehicles and bank accounts linked to drug‑related crimes.

In Tekirdağ’s Çorlu area, police arrested three alleged drug dealers and confiscated more than 3,000 synthetic drug items and 20,000 units of bonzai raw material, along with assets estimated at 22,950 lira.
