Turkish Exporters Assembly strengthens Balkan trade ties

The Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) has concluded a comprehensive trade delegation program in Kosovo and North Macedonia, held between September 28 and October 2. Led by İskender Kaplan, Chairman of the TİM Carpet Industry Board, the initiative aimed to strengthen the global presence of Turkish exporters.

The program facilitated over 925 B2B meetings between Turkish firms and Balkan business leaders. In Pristina, 26 Turkish companies engaged in more than 400 meetings, while in Skopje, 525 B2B contacts were made with 210 Macedonian firms. Kaplan noted that the high level of interest in Pristina and Skopje demonstrates the strategic importance of the Balkan market and the strong perception of Turkish products in the region.
