Turkish families seek medical aid for DMD muscle disease

Families in Turkey are conducting fundraising campaigns to fund treatments for children battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

In Karaman, Toprak Doğan has traveled to Dubai to continue his medical treatment following a successful local fundraising campaign. His father, Hakan Doğan, expressed gratitude for the public support and noted that the family is focused on his son's recovery while receiving medical care in the UAE.

In Alanya, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) district presidency has issued a call for donations to support Taha Miraç Kevkir. A governorate-approved campaign is underway to fund his treatment. Previous efforts in Alanya, including support from Corendon Alanyaspor and local NGOs, have helped raise approximately 65 million TL, reaching 46% of the total financial goal.
