Antalya family receives state support after welcoming quadruplets

A couple living in the Kaş district of Antalya, Turkey, has welcomed quadruplets following IVF treatment. Gamze Nur and Durdali Çörüt, who reside in the Kınık neighborhood, gave birth to four girls on September 3 at Pamukkale University Hospital in Denizli.

The infants, named Dünya Eylem, Doğa Nur, Aylima Ülküm, and Aysima İlkem, required neonatal intensive care for a period ranging from 21 to 28 days before being discharged and returning home.

Following the birth, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the Minister of Family and Social Services, congratulated the family via video call. Galip Sökmen, the Antalya Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, visited the family at their home. The government has announced several forms of assistance for the family, including 16,500 Turkish Lira in monthly child support. Additionally, authorities are working to provide Social and Economic Support (SED) due to the family now having five children, as well as Home Care Assistance for the family's disabled grandfather.
