Turkish firms report new contracts and share buybacks on Borsa Istanbul
Ten listed Turkish companies disclosed major new business agreements to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP). Şa‑Ra Enerji İnşaat Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. and its group partner signed a €17.57 million electricity transmission line contract with an overseas client, slated for completion in 2028. MIA Technology A.Ş. secured a €3.28 million Horizon Europe grant for the MARSEC project and its subsidiary Tripy Mobility won a three‑year, 18 million‑TL electric‑vehicle charging station tender at Karabük University. Orzax İlaç ve Kimya Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş., through its Kazakhstan subsidiary, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new supplement‑production plant in the Turan Special Economic Zone, built on 100 acres provided free by the Kazakh state. CVK Maden İşletmeleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. signed a $70 million pre‑payment agreement with global commodity trader Trafigura.
Separately, seven listed companies announced share‑repurchase programmes. Turkish Gold Enterprises (TRALT) bought shares worth 5 million TL, raising its treasury holdings to 0.156% of capital. Arsan Holding A.Ş. repurchased 800 000 shares, increasing its stake to 6.80% of capital. Ekim Turizm Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. completed a 200 000‑share buyback, representing 0.024% of its capital. All programmes were reported to KAP as part of ongoing efforts to support share prices and reassure investors.
