Overview

In late July 2026, companies listed on Borsa Istanbul used the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) to announce a wave of new business agreements. On 27 July, ten firms reported contracts ranging from a €17.6 million electricity transmission line to a Horizon Europe grant, an EV‑charging tender, a supplement‑production plant in Kazakhstan’s Turan SEZ, and a $70 million pre‑payment with Trafigura. The same filing noted share‑repurchase programmes by seven issuers, totalling several million Turkish lira.

Three days later, on 30 July, thirteen listed companies disclosed additional deals, including energy‑supply tenders, a €10.3 million truck purchase, wheat and legume procurement worth 193.5 million TL, a joint‑venture in Uzbekistan, and a major 154 kV power‑project contract. One firm, Barem Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret, also filed for a concordat restructuring, citing volatile raw‑material and energy costs, delayed investments, and financing pressures.

The sequence shows a broader pattern of Turkish publicly‑traded firms regularly reporting sizeable commercial contracts while some confront financial strain, leading to restructuring moves within the same market reporting framework.
