Turkish Football Federation sets 2026‑27 Turkish Cup dates

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced the schedule and format for the 2026‑27 Ziraat Turkish Cup. All rounds except the semi‑finals will be single‑match eliminations, with the final slated for 29 May 2027. The fifth‑round matches can be played on 15‑17 December or, if needed, on 22‑24 December, allowing clubs involved in UEFA competitions flexibility.

Konyaspor, which finished ninth last season, will enter the competition in the fourth round and could play its first match on 1‑3 December. The new format eliminates the previous group stage, creating a straight‑knockout tournament of ten weeks. The semi‑finals will be contested over two legs, while the champion will earn a place in the 2027 Turkish Super Cup and a direct slot in the 2027‑28 UEFA Europa League play‑off round.
