Kayseri Culture Route Festival concludes with gastronomy and arts

The Kayseri Culture Route Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, has concluded its nine-day program in Kayseri. The event featured a diverse range of activities including music, theater, exhibitions, and workshops.

Gastronomy was a central theme, highlighted by the ‘Flavor Point’ project. This initiative showcased 34 locations across various districts, including Melikgazi and Talas, featuring traditional dishes such as Kayseri mantısı, pastırma, and local delicacies. Gastronomy professionals visited these sites to document the city's culinary heritage.

Cultural performances included a tribute concert to folk poet Neşet Ertaş and a production of the play ‘Keşanlı Ali Destanı’. Additionally, the festival hosted specialized workshops, such as a calligraphy session led by Mustafa Türkmen at the Kayseri Kale İçi Archaeology Museum, which drew significant interest from participants.
