On 13 June 2026, Turkey’s free‑market hazelnut prices showed notable regional variation. Prices fell to 155 TL in Sakarya, while the highest reported price was 180 TL in Terme, with other key centres such as Giresun (178 TL) and Ordu (172 TL) also listed.

In Hatay’s Amik Plain, onion prices jumped from 18 TL per kilogram to 30 TL within ten days. The increase coincided with a successful harvest that yielded about five tonnes per dunam, benefitting both producers and seasonal labourers.

These price movements reflect shifting supply‑demand dynamics in Turkey’s agricultural markets and are closely watched by farmers, traders and local officials.
