Turkish Housing Agency (TOKİ) Announces August Delivery of 8,448 Social Homes in Malatya

Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum announced that the keys for 8,448 social housing units, part of the "500 000‑unit" TOKİ project, will begin to be handed over to beneficiaries in August. The allocation was confirmed at a ceremony in Malatya where the specific blocks, floors and apartments of each household were determined.

TOKİ also disclosed plans to sell 737 parcels across 49 provinces, including a 4,157 m² site in Tuşba, Van, through public auctions on 12‑14 August 2026. The parcels cover a total area of about 2.78 million m² with a combined value of roughly 18.7 billion TL, and will be offered with various payment options ranging from 25‑30 % down‑payment and 48‑month installments to cash purchases with a 15 % discount.
