Turkish Jandarma Seizes Drugs and Smuggled Goods in Muğla, Arrests Three

Between 1‑7 June, the Muğla provincial gendarmerie conducted 26 drug‑related operations, confiscating 1,096 g of synthetic cannabinoid (bonzai), 513 synthetic pharma pills, 20 ecstasy tablets, 22 g of kubar cannabis, 5 g of skunk and related paraphernalia. Twenty‑seven suspects were detained, and three were ordered into pre‑trial detention.

In parallel, seven anti‑smuggling actions seized 105 L of counterfeit/alcohol, 13 kg of shisha tobacco, 2,504 smuggled perfume bottles, 800 tobacco‑filled macarons and 30 kg of illicit cut‑tobacco. Seven additional suspects faced judicial proceedings. The gendarmerie reaffirmed its commitment to continue the fight against drug trafficking and organized crime.
