Turkish Local Officials Boost Infrastructure and Business Projects
Esenyurt Municipality in Istanbul continued its district‑wide road renewal program, replacing deformed streets with new asphalt and paving stones. Under the coordination of Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy, the works have placed roughly 62,000 tonnes of asphalt and laid about 299,000 square metres of paving, aiming to improve safety and comfort for residents.
In Aydın, Governor Dr. Osman Varol met with the head of the Aydın Chamber of Trades and Crafts to discuss plans that support local merchants and stimulate the city’s economy. The discussion focused on joint projects, stronger cooperation between public authorities and business organisations, and initiatives intended to revitalise commercial activity in the province.
