Turkish Local Officials Expand Home Care Services in Iğdır and Kayseri

Karaköyünlu District Governor (Kaymakam) İlhan Kayaş visited the private Iğdır Bakım Merkezi, reviewing its facilities, rehabilitation programs and meeting residents. He highlighted the government's commitment to support elderly, disabled and care‑dependent citizens and thanked the staff for their dedication.

In Kayseri, Melikgazi Municipality and the provincial health directorate signed a protocol to provide home personal‑care services for bedridden, disabled and elderly residents. Mayor Doç. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We have started home personal care services to ease the burden for patients and families," adding that the program will cover hygiene, bathing and transport to medical appointments.

Both initiatives aim to improve the quality of life for vulnerable populations through enhanced local services.
