Turkish Meteorology releases heat and rain forecasts for Bursa and Istanbul

The Turkish State Meteorology Directorate issued a detailed weekly forecast for Bursa, predicting clear skies and sunshine throughout the week with temperatures ranging from 17 °C to a high of 30 °C and light to moderate winds. No rainfall is expected in Bursa during the period.

For Istanbul, the agency warned that temperatures will gradually fall from early July onward and that scattered to moderate showers, including thunderstorms, are likely to return by mid‑week. The forecast follows a recent heavy rain event that caused street flooding, water accumulation in underpasses, and traffic disruptions across several districts such as Üsküdar, Beşiktaş and Sultangazi. Authorities urged residents to stay informed of updates and to exercise caution while traveling in affected areas.
