Turkish Ministry of National Defense to recruit 346 officers

The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has announced the recruitment of 346 officer candidates for the Land, Naval, and Air Force Commands. The recruitment process is divided into two separate guides, with applications being accepted via the e-Devlet system until October 20, 2026.

The quota distribution includes 219 permanent officers for the National Defense University (MSÜ), consisting of 163 teachers and 56 engineers. The remaining 127 positions are allocated for medical doctors, dentists, and specially qualified physical education teachers. Specifically, the breakdown includes 85 general practitioners, 6 dentists, and 36 physical education teachers for national athletes.

Requirements vary by branch. Teachers and engineers generally require a minimum ALES score of 70, while English and German teachers must have a YDS/e-YDS score of at least 85. Medical professionals and national athletes are exempt from KPSS or ALES requirements. Age limits and physical height requirements also apply, with specific gender restrictions for certain roles such as History teaching and aircraft maintenance.
